This is it! Holy Shit, 20 years! Who would have thought 20 years ago as we were funneling Budweisers and making lots of noise. That people would be traveling from all over the country to meet up again and relive those days. Maybe even try and piece together the missing pieces to some of those foggy memories. Even if only for a few nights.
The Square was more than a bar/music venue. It was a community, a scene and a home away from home to many. It was where we felt comfortable. People from all walks drawn together for their love of music. Some of it was magic and some of it really bad. But that's what made the Square. Being beautiful or good was not a prerequisite. It was our "Cheers" and it's truly going to be great to see everybody again. It's time to dust of the funnels, guitars & amps and make some noise again. Over 75 musicians who helped define The Square feel the same way. Many of these bands have not performed together or even seen each other in 15 - 20 years.
This is sure to be a night you are not going to want to miss! Included in your ticket price you will also be receiving a special commemorative Washington Square lanyard with 20 year reunion "tour laminate". There will be lots of other goodies we will be giving away throughout the night. The music starts at 6 p.m. sharp and won't stop until Churchill's kicks us out I can guarantee you that.
